Well, what a week!
I’m actually pretty short on pictures. Partly because I’ve been so busy and overwhelmed, and partly because I knocked my phone off the arm of the sofa and smashed it. It’s my main camera!
The whole of last weekend was taken up with giving birth, and the days that have followed have mainly involved all of us getting to know her.
Having Trevor home is wonderful, and it somehow feels like the Christmas break is back again. I’m terribly sore, from the birth, the stitches and the early days of breastfeeding, but we’ve managed to get out and about a little bit. Just a lunch in Sainsbury’s, playgroup, breastfeeding support group and lunch with some friends. The house is a dump and I don’t care.
Yesterday my mum, sister, niece and nephew visited and we had a picnic tea. It was so wonderful for all of the little ones to play together and Iris had a fabulous time.
Today we’re off to see Trevor’s family and pick the big two up from school. Of course this all depends on the forecast snow as they all live on the other side of the Brecon Beacons!
