Well I’m just popping by to say it’s not happening anymore. I’m choosing to cheer the hell up.
It’s been a good week. I’ve got some sleep. We’ve been out and about every single day. Iris has a new found love for long lie ins watching Peppa Pig while I snooze. My hips hurt, and my back hurts, but I’m fighting on. For another 8 and a half weeks. All because I am so lucky and so happy to be carrying this tiny baby sister for Iris and for our family. I know how lucky I am and I am grateful.
Tomorrow my mum is coming to visit which makes me happy too. It can get a little lonely on the other side of a toll bridge from your family.
This weekend Iris and I are off to a bloggers event, which has never happened before, and I’m excited! I hope it’s the first of many, and I get to meet lots of other lovely blog writers and their little ones. There’s nothing quite like making new friends.
My hair is freshly dyed, which always perks me up a bit, and I’m devouring a huge Black Forest hot chocolate while Iris sleeps. We’re off to meet some friends in a minute, and Trev is working from home meaning he’ll be there waiting for us later.
It’s all perfect.
